<h2>WILL NOT INCREASE TAXES OR RENT</h2>The City of San Francisco has a long-standing policy of only putting new bonds on the ballot when it will have no impact on property tax rates. Yes on A follows that policy: enough past bond debt has been paid off that approving this measure will not increase tax rates.

<h3>HOUSING FOR SENIORS AND FIRST RESPONDERS</h3>Yes on A will provide affordable housing for seniors on fixed incomes who are burdened with skyrocketing housing costs. And it will also help first responders – because when an earthquake strikes, we need emergency first responders living here in the city – not far away.

<h3>HELP SAN FRANCISCO MEET OUR RHNA HOUSING GOALS</h3>If San Francisco doesn’t approve 82,000 new homes in the next 8 years – with 46,000 affordable homes – we could lose significant state funding. Yes on A will help us meet these goals.

<h3>ACCOUNTABILITY FOR RESULTS</h3>Yes on A is subject to independent annual financial audits, review of all spending by a citizens’ oversight committee, and a requirement that no funding can be used for administrators’ salaries or pensions. By law, all funds are required to be spent only on the specified housing projects.
